Butterfly Apartments - Livingstone

Our month-long stay at Butterfly Apartments with our two children was perfect. The hotel had a well-equipped kitchen, spacious outdoor areas for the kids to play, and a refreshing pool. Peg kept our apartment clean, and the laundry service was affordable. Guards Richmond and Anna were friendly and took great care of us. Co-host Peter provided excellent recommendations and promptly addressed our needs. Even though owner Ethel was away, she remained accessible and responsive. The location was quiet, yet conveniently close to the town center. The staff made us feel like family.

The room lacked air conditioning, but the provided fans were not very effective. A comfortable chair, hanging rail, and additional coat hangers would have been nice.

Location was peaceful and ideal, relatively close to Victoria Falls. The employees were superfriendly during the stay.

We had a really great stay in Livingstone near to transport, food or places to visit, the centre of town and the stores. It was marvellous in quiet neighborhood😀

The apartment was amazing base for sightseeing in Livingstone, really enjoyed it. The kitchen had an electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware etc to cook a meal. So glad we met the host who ensured a truly memorable stay in Livingstone...

I had an amazing experience at Butterfly Apartments! Upon arrival, Peter, the co-host, upgraded us to a spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. He even took us out to try local cuisine and helped us shop for breakfast supplies. The location was discreet and had a huge pool. The budget-friendly option was perfect, especially with the nearby ShopRite for affordable groceries. The apartment had everything we needed, like a full oven and kitchenette. Plus, Biscuit the dog was a friendly and adorable companion.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration had a charming vintage touch that made me feel right at home, reminding me of the good old days. The general areas were well-maintained, providing a comfortable and accessible environment for senior people like myself. It was such a delight to relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings.

If I could suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed in the common areas and corridors. This would provide additional support and make moving around the hotel easier for us.

the staff and manager were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the room itself was spacious, featuring a kitchen area with a TV, a living room, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom. It was fully equipped with everything I needed, from pots and dishes to cutlery and a wine opener. I particularly loved the privacy that the apartment provided. And of course, I can't forget to mention Biscuit, the friendly and adorable dog that added to the overall charm of the place. Cons: For us, it was ideal! 😊.

I chose Butterfly for its proximity to Livingstone Museum, a place I've always wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access provided by this aparthotel. It was a great convenience to stay connected during my trip. Additionally, the kitchens with separate dining areas were a wonderful feature, allowing me to enjoy meals in the comfort of my own space.

Nothing much to talk about. The place is not 5 star, but they are aware of that and are making improvements accordingly.

The rooms are nicely decorated and the setting is lovely with convenient amenities like an ironing set, a multi-channel television, and a sitting area.

The food for breakfast could have been better, as it lacked variety or options.

We enjoyed the pool and the idyllic garden. it was an excellent value for money and we will definitely be back!

The pool had some leaves and bugs in it, but it wasn't a big issue for us.

We experienced frequent power outages at our apartment, which was frustrating. It was also inconvenient when we got locked out and had no one to call for assistance.
